Eden’s Memorable Outing to Balik Pulau
12 June 2026, Eden organized a delightful outing to Balik Pulau for our beneficiaries, volunteers, and friends. It was a wonderful day filled with fellowship, sightseeing, and enjoying some of Penang’s best local attractions and delicacies.
One of the highlights of the trip was a visit to the historic Church of the Holy Name Of Jesus, one of the oldest Catholic churches in the region. Participants appreciated the beautiful surroundings and the opportunity to learn more about its rich heritage and significance.
Had lunch at the famous fried Sar Hor Fun, Chai Koay and Lobak, a local favorite that was thoroughly enjoyed by all.
Special highlight was the opportunity to visit Lake Cafe to se
e and interact with various animals in a peaceful natural setting. Participants enjoyed observing the animals, taking photographs, and spending time outdoors. The experience brought much joy and excitement, especially for those who do not often have the chance to be close to animals.
To complete the day, the group had the opportunity to indulge in the king of fruits – durian – and savor the rich flavors at Stone House Plantation, Balik Pulau that is famous for. Laughter and cheerful conversations filled the air as everyone enjoyed the durian feast
together.
